Doug Donald - After receiving his MFA in Directing for the Theatre from the University of Iowa Doug worked professionally as a director, actor and designer for various theatre companies throughout the Midwest; including Dubuque’s former Five Flags Theatre Company, where he met his wife, Lenore. In 1982 they formed Fly-By-Night Productions with Doug serving as Artistic Director for 18 years. From 2000–2018 he served as Director of Theatre at Loras College. Since retirement he has directed, acted and designed sets for FBNP, directed for the Grand Opera House, produced over 30 short videos based on the writings of Mark Twain, and currently serves on Dubuque’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission.
