Terry Eckhart

Secretary

Dr. Eckhart is a Luther College graduate. She completed medical school and residency in ObGyn at University of Iowa in 1981 and started Dubuque Obstetrics and Gynecology that same year. She is married to Michael D. Gibson, an archivist at Loras College, and together they have four children. Her interests include all aspects of theater, singing with the Dubuque Chorale, and sewing. She was instrumental in purchase of the Grand Opera House by the Barn Community Theater and organizing the change from the Barn Community Theater, which eventually adopted the building’s name for its players. She is in the Grand Opera House Hall of Fame for her work both on stage and behind the scenes. She has been a Board Member of Fly-By-Night Productions for many years serving as treasurer and now as secretary.
